After Doline’s Vieux Nous EP, our next release comes from another young french electronic wizard, Basile3.
No Extra Territory is a delusional millennial 21st century soundscape.
The four tracks experiment with different tempos and approach to make a diverse but coherent project.

The opening track, No Extra Territory is haunted : bell arpeggios climb progressively until the bass switches the scene into a broken trap section that leads us into an avalanche of synths until extinction.

After this heavily charged track, Body Glue slows down the tempo and delivers a cold yet sensual r’n’b jam swaddled with viscous textures and destroyed flangers.

On Mutual, Basile3 connects his obsessions for crunk leads, cinematic chords and melodies supported by a sharp half tempo bass music rhythmic throughout the track.

The EP ends on Thousand Ways To Live, a pad heavy synthetic exploration, intriguing textures, joined halfway by a soprano melody. Staccato baritones punctuate the last quarter of the track, only for it to slowly fade away.
